Solo Art Show May 8, 2026

Join me in my first solo art show and community mural auction!

When: May 8, 2026 5-8pm

Where: Social Good Place, 4511 SE Main St, Portland, OR

What: A visual offering of love and connection to Portland and the Pacific Northwest with silent auction for a community mural made from > 200 pieces of plastic waste

What you will find at the show:

  • My new original series, "PNW Petites," consists of 10 original paintings that feature iconic scenes around Oregon and Washington

  • Silent auction for "Community Alchemy" mural (see below)
  • A couple of my large available originals from 2025 and 2026 (including "Unfolding")
  • Best-selling canvas and paper prints 

  • Greeting cards (including ones based on "PNW Petites") and stickers 

  • "Multnomah Falls"

    • Featuring the tallest waterfall in a state that knows its waterfalls!
    • 12" x 12" acrylic and oil on canvas
  • "Portland Aerial Tram"

    • The iconic transportation where I first fell in love with the city and Mt. Hood
    • 8" x 8" acrylic and oil on canvas
  • "Mt. Rainier National Park"

    • The tallest peak of Washington state surrounded by abundant summer lupine
    • 10" x 10" acrylic on canvas

Charity auction

Community Mural Auction

  • Silent auction of this community mural of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River
  • Mural dimensions: 8ft x 5.3ft
  • 50% of auction proceeds will benefit Plastic Pollution Coalition

Repurposing single-use plastic

Mural Creative Process

  • > 200 pieces of plastic waste (difficult to recycle plastic clamshells) were collected from the community
  • Plastic pieces were then primed, painted, cut into flat pieces, and taped onto wooden panels

Community-Building Through Art

  • At least 60 community members attended mural-making sessions between March - April 2026 at Social Good Place in PDX
  • Participants included all ages and most had minimal art experience
  • Commemorative art prints of the mural will be gifted to each household that participated
